CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – U.S. Senator Mike Braun visited Clay County on Wednesday.
It was all a part of his pledge to visit all of Indiana’s 92 counties.
During Wednesday’s visit, the senator stopped by the Clay County Historical Society Museum.
While there, he learned more about the history of Clay County.
He then met up with local leaders.
Braun says every county in the Hoosier state has something special to offer.
“Here at the Clay County Historical Society – Clay County Museum – you learn things like Orville Redenbacher and Jimmy Hoffa being from Clay County,” said Braun.
Wednesday, Braun also visited Greene, Owen, Bartholomew, and Brown counties.
