INDIANAPOLIS — Today, Senator Mike Braun announced that his office has closed over 10,000 constituent assistance cases since taking office in 2019 and has saved Hoosiers over $6,596,480 by acting as a liaison between Hoosiers and federal agencies such as the IRS, FEMA, and the Department of Veteran Affairs.
During this time, the Office of Senator Mike Braun successfully closed constituent cases concerning the VA, the IRS, passports and immigration, the Social Security Administration, the Small Business Administration, and more.
“Customer service was the top priority when I was running a business, and constituent service will always be the number one priority in my Senate office. I’m thankful for my team and the work that have done to help Hoosiers across the state, like a recent case where we recovered $10,000 from the IRS for a Columbus woman who was at risk of losing her home. I am in Washington to serve you and my office will continue to put Hoosiers first and help cut through the red tape of federal agencies.”—Sen. Mike Braun
Any Hoosier can reach out to the Office of Senator Braun to receive assistance with federal agencies. The form is available here.
